1. Whether it can be used continuously
Cylinder printing machine is a method of printing on fabric with a copper cylinder with a concave pattern, also known as copper roller printing. The engraved roller is called flower tube for short. When printing, first stain the surface of the flower tube with color paste, and then use a sharp and smooth scraper to scrape off the surface color paste of the unengraved part of the flower tube to leave color paste in the concave pattern. When the flower cylinder is imprinted on the fabric, the color paste is transferred to the fabric and the pattern is printed. Each flower cylinder prints a color paste. If multiple flower cylinders are installed on the printing equipment at the same time, color patterns can be printed continuously. Drum printing is also called iron cow printing in some areas of the country, and its principle is consistent with our daily stamps;
Second, different printing methods
Circular screen printing is a printing method that uses the scraper to make the color paste in the circular screen printed on the fabric under the pressure. Rotary screen printing differs from other screen printing methods in several important ways. Rotary screen printing, like roller printing, is a continuous process. The printed fabric is transported under the continuous movement of the circular screen flower cylinder through a wide rubber belt. Its principle is opposite to the roller, and the printing is done inside the round screen (nickel screen) like external infiltration slurry (through scraper, magnetic bar and pressure);
Third, whether there is a higher accuracy
Both of these processes are continuous printing methods, and the speed is relatively fast; the fineness of the pattern of the roller printing machine is determined by the fineness of engraving. In theory, the fineness can be about 20 microns, and it is also in actual production. It is obvious, but the fineness of the rotary screen printing is determined by the fineness (mesh number) of the nickel screen. As far as the current market is mature, 155M or less is more reasonable;
Fourth, the saturation of printing color
Another difference that I have to say is the saturation of the rotary screen printing in large area printing, especially the fabric with a high grammage is incomparable by the roller; of course, the roller has obvious advantages in double-sided printing (front and back of the fabric) at the same time.
